Pixar is one of the greatest makers of animated films all over the world. They do not only put justice to the characters of their movies, but made them sensible as well. Pixar is very fond of using and putting references to their films as well. As most of us may not have noticed, Pixar promotes their upcoming films with the use of their beautifully-made characters.
Well, if Disney has their ‘HIDDEN MICKEY” in their films and shows, Pixar has their ‘easter eggs‘. Easter Eggs in the sense that viewers will actually be looking up for something every time they watch a Pixar movie. Yup, in deed, there are several instances where Pixar uses secret characters from a movie usually to introduce their upcoming films.
Here are just few of the many scenes where in you’ll find the many references of the films. And as to the character references, here are as follows:
TOY STORY 3′s LOTS-O’ appeared in the movie ‘UP’ in this scene.
Well, of course an irrelevant character.
UP’s DUG appeared in the movie, ‘RATATOULLE’ in this scene.
CARS 2 character can be seen in ANDY’s BEDROOM in TOY STORY 3
Fire truck “RED” and a toy tractor from the movie CARS appeared in TOY STORY 3
And lastly, if you could still remember BOO from MONSTERS Inc.
Can we say that this girl from TOY STORY 3, is her (Boo’s) grown up version?
